I will have less jobs to apply to because it will be replaced by mechanical muscle and minds, humans will have to do nothing and robots will push humans out of all business and any kind of labor because they are more efficient, stonger in muscle and brain, and cost less for businesses than hiring a human. Doctors will be replaced with robots like IBM’s Watson, because they won’t make mistakes, they know every drug, and other things like they never get tired. The unemployment rate will be higher than it was during the Great Depression and robots will take over the world's jobs.
The progression of our technology can make a person second guess the profession that they would want to go to. The career choice they may have may not exist in our future due to the robots and computers who work more efficiently and quicker than any human could. Also, because of this, someone may want to take on a different profession or choose to go into even higher education because of how high the competition is in the future, because we are now not only competing between ourselves but are competing against our own technology.
The reality of robots is an extraordinary one. These pieces of metal do not get tired, sick, or bored. Seeing as they also don’t need to get paid, they can soon overcome humans. Humans their entire life have made mechanical machines to lessen the workload of jobs. Thats how robots were born. Skilled programmers made robots that teach themselves jobs, preferable low skilled jobs that are easy to complete. With the larger demand with electronic devices, robots are slowly taking over the human life. Humans will have a much harder time if robots keep taking our jobs. I, personally, want to become a behavioral neuroscientist, which is a scientist learning about how the brain behaves. Even in a few years, a job like that could be overtaken by the mechanical bots, seeing as bots have already taken over some jobs like being doctors, lawyers, and much more of the professional business. The demand for simple jobs like packing and driving and cooking will decrease, resulting in others losing money, losing jobs, and making this place technically controlled by pieces of metal.
In my opinion, I think that this needs to stop before it gets out of control. Our future will be revolving around machines and relying on them. The job you wanted the most could be taking over by a machine. I don't want machines to work, drive or do anything for me that I am perfectly capable doing on my own. If machines do everything we can do, what is there for us? People with become unemployed, more and more each day because machines can do everything better and faster then an average human.
The reality that almost no job is safe from the automotive industry is very alarming. I think this could cause people to reconsider their career choice and their daily use of technology. I don't think the world economy is prepared for 45% of the workforce to become unemployed. That would cause a second Great Depression, which, if the video was accurate, would most likely happen within our lifetime.
We’re growing up in a time where technology is all around is. However, when we grow older and apply for jobs, instead of competing with other people, we will also have to compete with robots. Although technology makes life a lot easier, it may lead to problems, such as high unemployment rates. For example, robots don’t get tired so they can do long, exhausting work for a long time versus humans who need sleep and aren’t as efficient.
These realities can impact the future because previously I had not been aware that new technology can easily replace people in any workplace and make humans completely useless.

Robots also do not need a salary and do not need sleep, so while they can work for 24 hours without pay, and we can’t, businesses see that as a better choice than hiring us humans.
These realities can really impact of future. We might not even have a future because of bots taking over jobs. Even though these there might not be a bot that is taking over the job that you would want to pursue when you get out of high school and college. There might be a bot in a couple of years. It really is scary to think of our futures possibly being in a danger when you think about it. The jobs that are available for us as humans are going down as we know it and they are going to keep going down as the years go by and we keep getting older.

It can impact my future as I might go to college, pay for an education and be in debt, for nothing. By the time we are old enough to get a professional job, it will just be too late for humans, technology is getting better by the minute. Humans are ruining the future just so things can be made easier in current time.

If a weird accident happened and the robots froze or stopped working, everyone would be set back and delayed from what they are doing. If a robot filled the job of a doctor and stopped working what would happen to all of the patients that needed medicine or care and could possibly die without it. It's scary to think that if the robots would be taking over important jobs and something would happen, these important jobs would be on hold, where as even though humans may cost more and may not be as efficient, at least they will never suddenly stop "working" or "freeze" with no one to fill their spot.
The new and improved robotic technology that is being developed could have a really big impact on how I think about my future. For example, if I wanted to be a doctor, a robot would be able to do that job a lot more efficiently than I could ever do it. Newer robots are even able to teach themselves and learn by watching or collecting data from thousands of different places instantly where as humans would never be able to do anything like this. Also, a robot could work 24 hours a day with no breaks and get a lot more work done because they don't get tired like humans do. Overall, my future job might not be available by the time I'm ready to have it.
It's scary to think about my future now if robots are taking over a job that I might want to professionally go into. It seems as if some people are making a huge profit building these bots that take over jobs that we will want to go into when we become adults. The video talked about doctor bots and bots that can learn on their own. My parents told me that I should go into finance or medical field because every one needs a doctor, every one needs an accountant. But, if these robots are taking those jobs away, what will happen to the mass majority of people studying to be in that field let alone the people already working in the those professions. It now puts a lot of pressure on us, I think, to get are grades up and to be able to find a job that will allow us to live comfortably when we are older and to eventually support a family.
Watching this video made me second guess to live in the future because of all this new technology that they are developing. Human jobs are going to be replaced rapidly, and some of the jobs that we wanna grow up to do may already be replaced in a couple of years by these smart machines. It's hard to accept that a simple machine can be better then a living human being, because they make less mistakes then us.
We, as humans, always like to pride ourselves on our individuality. We believe that there's no two people who are alike, and we're all irreplaceable. So, the video was very interesting, as it was basically implying that many of the things that humans can do and many things that make humans unique can easily be replicated by robots. Humans aren't as irreplaceable as we think. The video gives evidence that not only can robots perform some of the same tasks we can, but the robots can do them better. I think the future is going to be great for the people who profit from the robots, but not so great for the people whose jobs can be replaced by a robot.
Robots can do any job, and they can do it better than humans. The worst part is that technology can always keep advancing and eventually robots could take over every job available. On first thought that doesn't sound too bad because at least you won't have to work, but the fact is that with no jobs and the rewards that come with working hard, there would be no motivation for the society as a whole.

I think that it is very scary to think about my future. I could take several classes in high school to the learn the basics of a job I would like to have. Also spending large amounts of money and several years of my life to learn how to do this job. Then when I am finished with my education it would be impossible for me to obtain it. After all of the time and money I would invest into this educate myself about the job I would be unemployed.
I think that we should embrace the possibilities that robots can provide for us. Human deaths may be prevented, cures to diseases that are deadly could be discovered. I think that we shouldn't get out of hand with this though. We have the power to stop making robots, and go back to the way we were. There are many positive and negative aspects to this discovery, but we are always learning as are robots. Ultimately, we have the control so we shouldn't be forced to stop expanding our knowledge and give up on this technology.
